Didn’t Work for the Rainforests Either
The scary thing is that this slash-and-burn approach to governing may continue to work for Mr. Bush’s people because the initial triumphs get all the headlines. Unfortunately, the rest of the world has to live in the wreckage they leave behind.

Rumsfield Needs to Shut It
Can we place a gag order on Rumsfield? My goodness, we haven’t even finished fighting in Iraq, much less started rebuilding, and we’re alreday waving our guns about at another country?
Maybe someone should see how we’re doing at helping rebuild Afghanistan?

If you had to agree with the politics and morals of all your favorite entertainers and athletes, there wouldn’t be many you’d agree with. The Dixie Chicks are entitled to their opinion, just as Texans are allowed to wear mullets.
I also don’t see why people can’t disagree with the President and be supportive of the troops as well. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive.
