MacWorld SF Coverage

Live virtual coverage of MacWorld today, only at colianni.net/aj !

Just for giggles I thought I might post little observations and clever comments about the proceedings at MacWorld SF. Which, as noted by Rob at Mac Net Journal (an excellent site), this may very well be the last MacWorld ever! Apple has been making indications of moving away from the bi-yearly giant trade show event for a while.

What’s on the agend for today? New iApps? Updates? New Macs? Firewire2? New iPod? The AppleTivo Super Device! (with the G16 engine)

40 minutes and counting…

iCal and iSync

New versions out for both iCal and iSync.

MacWorld is coming up in just a few days… I wonder if there will be anything exciting this year?

Spaceward Ho!

One of my favorite Mac games of all time received an update earlier this week. Spaceward Ho! 5 was released, and it’s better than ever.

I downloaded the demo, and at first glance is very similar to version 4, but they have made quite a few small enhancements, and one major one (IMO). Now, instead of having to use Filesharing to play network games, all the network games are handled with TCP/IP and a central server run by Delta Tao.

I also noticed on Delta Tao’s homepage, a new version of Eric’s Solitaire is coming out for Mac OS X! 🙂 You may be wondering why I’m excited about a solataire game, but then, you probably haven’t played Eric’s Solitaire.

Santa Claus

I’ve been a big fan of the ‘Switch’ ads ever since they came out, but these two are just hilarious.
